It’s tough being away from home (even at one of our homely serviced apartments in Bristol or London). Especially when you’re busy with work, on a budget and wanting to be healthy. TRUST – we hear ya…

Problem-solving is something we’re good at Your Apartment. We have therefore asked each member of our small, yet savvy team to inspire you with a recipe that can be quickly prepared and cooked in 15-minutes.

Aside from that, these recipes appreciate that while we have well-equipped kitchens and kitchenettes, there isn’t enough to try and pull a 7 course Gordan Ramsey performance.

So without wasting any more of your precious time, here we go…

Cosmin’s Healthy Porridge with Berries & Banana

Cosmin is on our wonderful Reservations Team. Each morning, he’s always on time and raring to go and now we know why. When we challenged him with a recipe he responded, ‘that’s too easy’. Without any hesitation, Cosmin’s 15-minute healthy porridge with berries and banana was already being listed in our inbox.

 

So, no pressure – here is Cosmin’s no.1 quick and ‘berry’ easy porridge to give you that morning kick up the rear which many of us so very often need.

When calling on our trusty Reservations Agent Philip to give us a recipe we learned that he has recently become a vegetarian. Impressive stuff. Naturally, our first reaction was ‘How did you manage to give up meat?’.

 

Anyway, long story short he said every time he wants meat, he has a grilled halloumi sandwich and all those desires simply melt away.

Antonio is the life and soul of the Reservations Team. He’s always in good spirits, in keeping with his authentic and profound ‘Italian-ness’.

 

And what’s healthier, quicker and easier to make than a bowl of real Italian pasta? Not much eh! Understandably, as soon as it was Antonio’s turn to pull a sharp one in our five-part cooking series, pasta was at the top of the menu.

Charlie’s Low Carb, High Energy Super Salad

Charlie loves this salad as you can chop and change it up as you please. One day salmon, next day chicken. For all those veggies out there, you can even swap in quinoa or chickpeas.

Known amongst his friends for his discerning sweet tooth, it only seems apt for us to ask Dan for his go-to recipe should one be on a budget and require a little more citrus after a long day in the (home) office.
