And it certainly does exactly that. Let us introduce you to Your Apartment - Clifton House.
You'll find Clifton House just off the popular and buzzy Whiteladies Road in Tyndall's Park. When it comes to staying outside of the City Centre, Clifton House is in a prime location which is both walking distance from The Clifton Triangle, Park Street, Cotham Clifton Village.
The former Clifton hotel is now home to 24 boutique-style serviced apartments. Some with separate kitchens, a roll-top bathtub and four-poster beds.
We wanted to take the opportunity to show you some of our favourite new features of Your Apartment – Clifton House .
No.1 – High Ceilings
One of the superior things which really got us excited about Clifton House was its period features. It's not every day that an opportunity arises whereby a property with reams of character and a lengthy history joins forces with a bold and ambitious organisation such as us.
From high ceilings in many of the serviced apartments to the spiral staircase in the hall. These are just a couple of the things which we were so excited to be working with.
No.2 – Our New Neighbours
Wherever our apartments pop up, we like to make sure that we understand who are our neighbours are and to be there to offer our support if required.
Some of our new neighbours at Your Apartment - Clifton House include the BBC's Broadcasting House, Bristol Universities Clifton Campus, the Everyman Cinema, Whiteladies Road Farmers Market, the list goes on.
Supporting the local economy and community is at the heart of our goal and Clifton House is in the perfect position to do this.
No.3 – Four Poster Beds
It wouldn't have been right to not have incorporated king-sized four-poster beds into some of the apartments at Clifton House. Those who have high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows were just screaming four-poster and in hindsight, it was a strong choice.
There's a time and a place for a Four Poster and this was our moment to ' make it fair and make it square '.
No.4 – Entirely Contactless
One of our proudest innovations at Your Apartment is our entirely contactless approach to booking, checking in, accessing your apartment and checking out.
While we’ve always pioneered the contactless approach across our business from the very beginning, at Your Apartment – Clifton House , we’ve even gone keyless.
No.5 – Artwork
With so much wall space, we couldn't help but want to go to town on the artwork. Incorporating giant mirrors and over 350 prints in the hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms. You name it, if there was wall space, we had to make it eyecatching and interesting.
A big thank you to Simple Simon Design who helped us source all of the prints. It was a daunting task but we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
No.6 - Light
Ever since we opened Frederick Place , we have been in awe of any apartments which have the luxury of large windows. It is scientifically proven that light makes people happier, so it makes sense that the apartments which are drenched in light tend to be favourites amongst guests.
All of the apartments on the Hall Floor, First Floor & Top Floor at Clifton House are super airy and bright which we love.
But that doesn't mean to say that we haven't gone all out in the Basement apartments. Hell no! We have installed modern ambient lighting which accentuates the character of each of the apartments. Drawing the light from the windows and giving you that warming home-from-home vibe which we pride ourselves on at Your Apartment.
