Onsite Parking

We have limited parking spaces at our aparthotel in Clifton Village which are free to use, but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You MUST inform us if you would like to use the car park so we can give you the access code.

We recommend having a back up plan encase the spaces are unavailable, luckily we've laid out your best options for nearby parking below...

Staying at Clifton Village and looking for somewhere to park? Here’s what you need to know…

Pay & Display Parking

Parking Map for Clifton Village - Febraury 2021

On most of the streets around the Village, you’ll find roadside Pay & Display Parking. Please do keep an eye out as some of the bays are just Pay & Display and some are Pay & Display as well as Permitted between certain timings.

We suggest you avoid permitted and time-specific spaces as the wardens are pretty thorough and as much as we’d love to cover the cost of your fine, sadly we can’t do this.

The map above shows you where there is Pay & Display nearby.

Prices:

North of The Village

If you’re parking between 9am and 5pm, Mon to Fri, you will need a Pay and Display ticket to park on the streets north of Clifton Village.

When parking outside of these times, you will not need a Pay and Display ticket to park in these bays. On Bank Holidays, you don’t need a ticket to park.

South of Clifton Village

If you’re parking between 9am and 9pm, Mon to Sat, you will need a Pay and Display ticket to park on the streets south of Clifton Village.

When parking outside of these times, you will not need a Pay and Display ticket to park in these bays. On Bank Holidays, you don’t need a ticket to park.

Pay and display

You can park for up to 30 minutes free of charge using a Pay and Display ticket or Pay £1 per hour.

The maximum stay time in the area north of Clifton Village is FIVE hours.

In the area south of Clifton Village it is…

  • Three hours between 9am and 5pm
  • Four hours between 5pm and 9pm

You can choose to pay either using cash or we recommend downloading the Ringo App and setting up an account (if you’ve not already).

This makes parking anywhere in the city that little bit easier should you choose to pay and display.

Clifton Downs Shopping Centre Car Park

Looking for something a little more secure?

Clifton Down Shopping Centre provides a partially covered car park accessed from Alma Road. Parking is spread over seven levels with 360 spaces, including disabled and mother/child bays.

The car park offers safe and secure parking from 7.00am to 10:30pm. It is part of the Safer Parking Award scheme, and holds the Park Mark Award.

Cars can be left in the Car Park overnight and will be charged the day rate of £12 plus any additional hours the following day. The Car Park is locked from 10:30pm to 07:00am and there is no access to vehicles left in the car park during this time.

Can’t find a space anywhere?

If you struggle with all of the above, you can always find a space on someone’s driveway using Your Parking Space.

  • Arriving by bike

There is a public bicycle rack right in front of the entrance to the aparthotel. Alternatively, we can give you access to the car park where we have a more secure place where you can leave your bike. We do ask that you still use a chain to reduce any chances of theft.

  • Arriving by taxi

Uber, & Ola are available across the whole of Bristol so if you have the apps then getting a taxi should be pretty simple.

A choice of local taxis can be found here.

  • Arriving by train

We are a 15-minute walk from Clifton Down Station or a 40-minute walk from Temple Meads.

Alternatively (if the traffic is good), it is a 15-minute taxi or 25-minute bus ride from the station.
