It’s been a long time in the works, but we can finally announce that Shepherd’s Hall in Old Market, Bristol will be our second aparthotel in the city. Hurrrah!
As many of you may already be aware, we opened our first new concept aparthotel in Clifton Village at end of the year in 2020. After a soft launch during the third lockdown, we’re pleased to say that the concept has been a huge success.
We are now looking to further innovate and grow the Your Apartment – Serviced Apartments & Aparthotels brand and we’re super chuffed that this will be over the other side of Bristol in a key regeneration location in the city, Old Market.
Whilst the new aparthotel is currently in the early stages of renovation, it is expected to be completed in late 2022.
To accompany the announcement, Director & Co-founder of Your Apartment, Toby Guest has commented:
“The signing of a new management agreement with the owners of Shepherd’s Hall is something we have been pursuing for quite some time. After long-term negotiations and promoting a change of ownership, we proactively found investors while working closely with Bristol City Council to repurpose and restore this Building of Merit.”
Shepherd’s Hall will be home to 25 new short-term lets in Bristol including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The new development will retain and respect many of the traditional features from the original property, whilst exuding the fresh and vibrant nature of the Your Apartment brand.
In relation to the planning and renovation of Shepherd’s Hall, Toby added:
“This is a unique project for us. After pursuing and being granted planning permission during March 2021 and we have been working side by side with the councils’ Heritage and Conservation Department, architects and developers.
Our goal being to bring the eclectic and innovative nature of our aparthotel brand into the feature-rich, Shepherd’s Hall. Since we launched Your Apartment – Clifton Village back in December 2020, our vision has been to continue delivering design-led spaces for visitors to stay in the city”.
