Top Eateries in Ealing Broadway

Here’s the rundown of our top picks for dining in and around Ealing Broadway…

Un-renowned for its local cuisine, we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how many great little places we sampled when we took to the foodie scene in Ealing Broadway.

From small unpretentious grazing grounds to going adrift further afield to some fancy places nearby; Ealing you are fortunately in the perfect spot for eating the heart out of West London.

Here’s the rundown of our top picks for dining in and around Ealing Broadway…

Casual Gaffs

If you’re just fancying a casual bit of grub in a nice but not too fancy setting, then these little gems are certainly worthy of being knocked up.

Clucking great

Chicken Shop

Don’t go to Nando’s – go one better to Ealing’s very own rotisserie chicken restaurant.

Only a few hundred meters from our serviced apartments in Ealing Broadway, Chicken Shop had the chilled vibe of a high street brand combined with the independent spirit of this suburb of London.

Japanese, if you please

If you’re a Wagamama fan then step down. Tonkostu is an authentic Japanese restaurant with a chilled vibe but some seriously good Katsu.

And it gets one better… if you can’t be bothered to leave your AirBnB in Ealing Broadway, just get it delivered. It’s so close that you won’t have to worry about it arriving cold.

Everybody loves Dickens

No17 Dickens Yard

In the thriving neighbourhood of Ealing, No. 17 Dickens Yard is an independent neighbourhood bar and restaurant, with a contemporary interior providing the perfect backdrop for socialising.

A lively all-day hangout, from Monday morning coffee to Friday evening nightcap; post-work drinks will be soundtracked on Friday and Saturday evenings by DJs.

Something A Little Special

If you’re coming to stay with us in London for a special occasion then West London is a serious heartland for great restaurants.

Whether you’re on the Michelin star trail or you just like something which feels a little more than your usual, then you’re in the right place.

A taste of across the Channel

Caractère is a casual, contemporary and independent restaurant situated in Notting Hill. Owners, Emily Roux and Diego Ferrari have managed to cleverly combine delicious food with an inviting and warm atmosphere.

In French, Caractère literally means character or personality, something that both Emily and Diego love to express through cooking and hospitality.

Inspired by the travelling wagon used by gypsies and spanning the globe collecting spices, flavours and influences along the way, Vardo is some casual made to feel super special.

Vardo is not too far from our serviced apartments in West London in Chelsea.

Foodie Pubs

Supporting your local pub has never been so important.

So supporting other local pubs when you’re on your travels should be a no-brainer, especially when they are as tidy as the ones in Ealing Broadway.

Humble public house

The Drapers Arms

The Drapers Arm is the place you go when you just want some of that truly humble pub food with no strings attached.

Run by a team of friendly locals, they have an abundance of real ales on tap and are open from lunchtime to nighttime every, single, day!

The Central Pub

The North Star

This place might not be the first place we’d run to but if we’re covering off foodie pubs that have great atmospheres and stellar pub food then it would be rude to leave them off the list.

Like The Draper Arms, The North Star has everything you’d expect from a local pub – a relaxing vibe and a great spread of dishes and drinks.

Get into...

The Grove

The Grove is just one of our favourite places in the whole of Ealing. On a summers evening, the front gardens are just what the doctor ordered after a busy day exploring the city.

With an impressive selection of wines and top-end gastro pub food, you’ll never want to leave.
