Only a couple of days prior to a new lockdown (sad times), we are pleased to announce that we have joined forces with independent grocery delivery service Good Sixty to offer our 1,500 guests per month a 10% discount on orders over £30.
A little bit about Good Sixty:
Good Sixty offer contact-free, eco-friendly bike deliveries of the premium food and drink showcased on their website. The company was founded by Chris Edwards to enable independent food retailers and producers to thrive online.
They showcase the best food and drink available in Bristol, Bath & Borough Market supporting many independent businesses and helping them to sell their fantastic produce fairly, in a local community marketplace.
The platform prides itself on giving its customers the ability to easily discover and shop from hidden gems, micro-producers, world-renowned specialists and the best high street independent retailers. More information available here.
In relation to our partnership with Good Sixty, Co-founder of Your Apartment, Toby Guest has commented:
“Teaming up with Good Sixty comes at a time when as a business we are keen to offer our guests a safer and more authentic experience. Good Sixty offers a revolutionary way of shopping online for locally sourced and produced goods from across the city and we are certain that our guests are going to love this”.
Weathering the storm…
Here at Your Apartment, we’ve been very lucky that during the last lockdown (and the imminent one), the self-contained qualities of serviced accommodation enabled us to maintain 70% occupancy despite the restrictions.
Describing the past 6 months, Toby Guest has also added:
“While we have had to change and adapt some aspects of our business, we’ve been one of the lucky independent businesses in Bristol which have managed to weather the storm without too much disruption. While supporting local business has always been something close to our hearts, we feel now is a better time than ever to use our platform to support other independent businesses which are trying to rebuild”.
With a continued increase in social distancing restrictions in place for the hospitality industry in the UK, the demand for corporate and long term accommodation within Bristol is proving to be more resilient than initially expected. With self-contained & contactless serviced accommodation less affected by many of the restrictions, we have still able to continue to provide longer-term guests with a place to call home whilst on assignment in the city.
As we continue to expand our network of local independent businesses in the leisure, food & drink or retail sector, welcome owners, proprietors and managers to get in touch should they wish to become a partner. Find out more about our partnerships here.
