Wales is famous for it hearty, rough around the edges, yet truly tasty nosh, this follows through into their no nonsense one of a kind independent restaurants. Be it Welsh cakes, leek rarebit, and let’s not forget roasted lamb which appears at many a Sunday luncheon.
Cardiff has a fresh honest food and combined with its authentically warm and friendly Welsh hospitality we thought it would be the perfect location to open our new Aparthotel in Cardiff in 2026.
Without further ado, here are some of our favourite places to eat in Cardiff!

Vivo Latino
Viva Latino is serving you Mexican, Brazilian, Cuban and Peruvian. Need we say anymore? Their menu gives you a handful of classics done in their own unique and sassy way, as well as a few unheard oddities which were sure are soon to become ' a thing ' for sure.
While it certainly is a great grazing spot, did somebody say cocktails? With a full line up of South American inspired cocktails, shaken, stirred, free poured - you name it, they're supplying it.

Spice Quarter
This is an ornately decorated restaurant that oozes Asian charm. The dishes are all traditional, so you are likely to find some of your favourites on the menu with a few Welsh delicacies thrown in.
