Planning a trip to Paris, Brussels, or heading here to London by the Eurostar? As you prepare to board this sleek, high-speed train from the iconic Kings Cross St. Pancras station, we’ve got some tips to ensure your journey is as smooth as a freshly pressed croissant.

Pack Light and Smart
While the Eurostar is more lenient than airlines when it comes to luggage (no weight limits!), remember that you’ll need to navigate through busy train stations and possibly cobblestone streets at your destination.
Packing light not only saves you the hassle of dragging around heavy bags but also gives you more space for those French wines or Belgian chocolates on the way back.
Pro Tip: Consider using a backpack or a small roller bag—something easy to stow and manoeuvre. And don’t forget to pack your travel essentials in an easily accessible place, especially your passport and tickets.

Arrive Early – But Not Too Early!
Eurostar recommends arriving 90 minutes before your train departs, which gives you plenty of time to go through security and passport control without rushing.

Aim to hit the sweet spot—enough time to grab a coffee, but not so much that you’re pacing the terminal.
