How We Are Trying To Save The World at Your Apartment
Durable Furniture and Responsible Donation
We meticulously select hardwearing and long-lasting furniture for our apartments, reducing the need for constant replacements.
When furniture does need to be replaced or upgraded, we prioritise donating it to local charity shops or finding it a new home, rather than sending it to landfill.
We believe in giving back to the community and have even contributed bedding and pillows to local homeless shelters.
Solar Energy
Arabica House & Rowan Tree in Bristol and Shepherd’s Bush in London are shining examples of our commitment to sustainability.
These properties boast solar panels that generate clean and sustainable power. The energy produced by these panels is harnessed and utilised to power the lighting throughout the apartments.
We have plans to implement solar panels into many more of our future properties.
Encouraging Recycling
We actively encourage our guests to recycle during their stay. By providing recycling facilities, we make it convenient for them to participate in sustainable practices.
We believe that small actions can make a big difference, and every recycled item counts.
Low Carbon Transportation
To combat pollution and promote sustainable transportation options, we urge our guests to choose low-carbon alternatives when visiting us.
Whether it’s cycling, using electric scooters, or simply exploring the city on foot, we encourage guests to minimise their carbon footprint and enjoy the benefits of a greener commute.

We have taken steps to reduce paper usage by introducing digital guides in our apartments.
Guests can now access house manuals through QR codes, eliminating the need for excessive printing. This not only saves trees but also enhances convenience and accessibility for our guests.
SMART Heat Tech and Timers
At specific properties like Your Apartment – Arabica House, we have implemented SMART Heat Tech, allowing us to reduce unnecessary heating between guest stays.
Additionally, our apartments at Your Apartment – Clifton Village & Your Apartment – Milton Keynes have heating set on 2-hour timers, ensuring energy isn’t wasted when guests are not present.
Supporting Local Independent Businesses
During the booking process, we actively promote nearby independent shops and restaurants that are within walking distance of our apartments. By reducing the need for driving or taxis, we aim to support local businesses and contribute to a more sustainable community.

To make recycling even more prominent, we are exploring the addition of recycling units inside each of our flats. By integrating these units, we hope to encourage and facilitate recycling practices for both our guests and team members.

We are excited to incorporate more upcycling techniques into our interior design.
By repurposing materials and giving them a new lease of life, we can reduce waste and create unique, sustainable spaces. Furthermore, we are embracing biophilic design principles, bringing nature indoors to promote well-being and connection with the natural environment.
Brompton Bikes
In line with our commitment to sustainable transportation, we plan to introduce Brompton Bikes at select properties in the future.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the city on these iconic folding bikes, encouraging eco-friendlyand convenient modes of travel.

Any new properties being custom-built for Your Apartment will undergo rigorous environmental scrutiny.
We aim to design and construct these properties with sustainability as a top priority, ensuring they align with our values and contribute positively to local communities.
